LookMood Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of LookMood’s website, mobile web app, and related services (“Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA/UK where applicable) to use LookMood.

2) Accounts & Sign-In

• You’re responsible for your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• Sign-in may be via Google, email/phone, or anonymous login through Firebase Authentication. See our Privacy Policy for how account data is handled.

3) User Content & Licenses

• You retain ownership of photos, videos, audio, text, and other materials you upload (“User Content”). You’re solely responsible for User Content.
• By uploading, you grant LookMood a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and transmit your User Content as necessary to operate the Services. For community posts, you also grant us the right to display and distribute the content to other users within LookMood.
• You confirm you have the rights to upload the content and that it doesn’t infringe others’ rights or violate any law.

4) Community Guidelines

• No illegal content, harassment, hate, or explicit sexual content.
• No exploitation, doxxing, or threats.
• No spam, scams, or deceptive practices.
• Respect others’ intellectual property and privacy.

5) Prohibited Uses

• Attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Services.
• Uploading malware or content intended to damage or disrupt systems.
• Impersonation or misrepresentation.

6) AI & Analysis Features

LookMood provides mood and voice analysis features for informational and entertainment purposes only. Results are probabilistic and not medical or psychological advice.

7) Privacy

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy. We use Firebase for authentication, storage, and database. We do not sell personal data. Technical details such as IP address may be logged by hosting providers temporarily for security/performance; LookMood does not permanently store or retain this information in our own systems. 8) Intellectual Property

The LookMood name, logos, and app design are owned by LookMood or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not use our trademarks without written permission.

9) Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LookMood will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

11) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LookMood and its affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the Services or your User Content, except to the extent such claims are caused by our breach of these Terms.

12) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time.

13) Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we’ll provide reasonable notice. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

14) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the United States, with appropriate consumer rights continuing to apply under your local law where required.
